The Project is established in the Campanha region, city of Candiota, in the south of Brazil, almost border with Uruguay. Four hundred hectares of vineyards are predicted to be planted by 2012. Nowadays the Miolo Winery has 120 hectares planted in this region. The vineyards consist of French, Portuguese and other grape strains. They are not irrigated and the vines develop according to rainfall.
